Hooray! I yell with tears in my eyes as I hear for the first time that the Supreme Court has upheld President Obama's Affordable Care Act, including the mandate. It's not a perfect plan, but now we have a place to build on for all Americans to have health care.

But immediately there was talk of Republicans putting to a vote the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. They even set a date. I can't help but think how much the Republicans despise the middle class and the poor that they would bring this to the Supreme Court in the first place, and then, when the Affordable Care Act was upheld by the court, they would fight it because they didn't get their way. A claim of sour grapes doesn't begin to cover it.

Do Republicans think the American people will approve of U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan's budget plan that would gut everything? Do they think it would help anyone? Americans aren't that stupid.

The Republicans never have and never will have a health-care plan. They have been against it since President Truman, 60 years ago.

More and more companies are downsizing and not providing their employees with health care. Thousands of companies will appreciate the Affordable Care Act.

Who wouldn't want our taxes to be used to help people with health care? How selfish.
