If you value your rights and health care more than your neighbors and this planet; if you believe that might and financial power are automatically correct and can namelessly buy, sell and elect you and your government; if you choose filibuster, "no" and negative, catch-phrase ranting over rational discourse we can't afford you.
If you choose to be uninformed and biased and if you choose to mindlessly worship capitalism or socialism as gods instead of recognizing these only as concepts, useful jointly and wisely for the benefit of our society, we cannot afford you.
If you, however, choose to actively work toward being informed and unbiased and will actively work for justice, equity, the protection of rights and the value of all, then we can and will afford you.
