Stores, parks, and outside entertainment all are losing steam. We need to get away from our contraptions. Hello! Before we know it, malls will be empty and so on. Then we will say, "How did this happen?" We will be virtual prisoners in our homes and married to our phones and computers and such.
People don't come first anymore. I remember my grandmother taking my sisters and me shopping downtown to Yonkers, which was then called Glass Block. We would have lunch, shop, and sit in the ladies restroom with other grandmothers who were knitting, chatting, and with their grandkids. It was the way of life.
There's going to a wall but no mall.
