Denfeld’s 1947 boys basketball team is the only Denfeld basketball team to win a state title. The team’s head coach was Lloyd Holm. I equate that to our current legislative situation in Wisconsin. What is the point of a midterm election if your state legislature overrides what the people voted for? Every day I think our legislature cannot sink any lower and every day, it seems, it proves me wrong.

We didn't vote in the governor's race to place a crown on Gov. Scott Walker's head; we voted to remove him.
