The redistribution of wealth has been tried in several forms for years. Human nature precludes it from being an effective solution. If the writer of the Jan. 24 letter, "Ease immigration woes by helping Mexico," is so gung ho to assist our neighbors to the south, he can load up and go down there and show them how to feed, clothe, and house themselves. The U.S. can't afford to be the world's welfare office any longer.
