Reader's View: Updegrove intelligent, articulate, listens

I am supporting Rich Updegrove for election for an At Large seat on the Duluth City Council.

After the 2016 presidential election, I felt I needed to become more politically active. I chose to become a part of Our Revolution-Duluth, which is where I met Updegrove. He was co-facilitating the group.

He displays many of the character traits I feel are important for a leader. He is intelligent, articulate, and listens. He will represent all areas of Duluth as he is aware of the issues that need to be addressed by the City Council and will strive to help the council address those issues.

I encourage Duluthians to vote for Rich Updegrove on Nov. 7.
