As the months go by, we are nearing our next presidential election.
I took my own survey of friends, relatives and neighbors, and I asked them who our worst president was, and their overwhelming selection was President George W. Bush.
I also asked them what they thought of our President Barack Obama, and they told me his challenges when he first took office were overwhelming. The majority of the neighbors, relatives and friends said Obama was very secretive. Does he go to Camp David with his family? What kind of food or candy does he like? Does he go to church? We know he plays golf and goes to Hawaii for vacations.
Now we are facing another presidential election with many Republican candidates and also a number of Democratic candidates. There are familiar names like Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton. All of these major candidates will spend a fortune on self-promoting ads.
Thousands of men and women have fought and died for our freedom.
We will elect another president, and it may not be who the pundits support.
God bless America! I fear this isn’t said each morning in grade schools anymore. Why not?
