Regarding the "honking tree:" Who could have done this? Why would they do it? To destroy a poor lonely tree whose only object in life was to bring joy and laughter to many people is a crime ("Two Harbors residents mourn 'honking tree,'" May 1).
The honking tree will haunt the person or persons who cut it down for the rest of their lives. And so will the so many who have great stories to tell.
