Thanksgiving Day shopping? Really?
Most stores are now open on Thanksgiving. Do we as Americans need to take this important holiday and ruin it with shopping? November has 29 other days to shop. Must we shop on Thanksgiving?
I do not shop on any holiday. I do not need or want material things those days. I can live 24 hours without it. I have been practicing this for years, America. It is really easy to do.
So while all you people are in the stores shopping, look at the employees and see the expressions on their faces. I'm sure they are having a happy Thanksgiving working and not spending the holiday with their families.
Oh, and by the way, thanks very much to all emergency personnel for working on Thanksgiving and on all other holidays for America. Hats off to all of them. God bless them.
