Legislation expected to soon be introduced by U.S. Sens. Bob Casey, D-Pa.; Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; and Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., would push the U.S. away from dialogue with Iran and increase the possibility of war. A host of national-security and arms-proliferation experts warn the resolution would put the Senate on record in support of a very low threshold for war while downplaying diplomacy to successfully prevent war and to prevent a
nuclear-armed Iran.
Americans have heard this
Pentagon-serving, fear-based warmongering too many times before. How many trillions of dollars in debt does the U.S. have to be in? How many families on both sides of the conflict have to be destroyed? And how much of our Earth has to be despoiled before we as a people shout, "No more!"?
Tell your senators to engage in civilized, conflict-resolution dialogue between the U.S. and Iran. Tell them you are against this bill, against attacking Iran and in favor of diplomacy.
