Reader's view: Superior has a choice train station location

I was using Google Maps to see where the Northern Lights Express Route 9 is to be built. I saw that Route 9 comes very close to the University of
Wisconsin-Superior. I saw there is a flat and open location across the tracks and west from the Hayes Court Complex ball fields and Mertz Mortorelli Memorial Drive.
With room for a full-length railway platform there, retail space and parking - as well as a short walk to the 16 city bus line, the university and hundreds of homes - this underdeveloped area would be my location for a truly Superior passenger train station.
