As an attorney who has practiced law for more than 30 years, I urge a vote Nov. 2 for incumbent Court of Appeals Judge Larry Stauber. I believe Stauber continues to be and is the best candidate because of his qualifications and experience.
Being a judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the second highest court in the state, requires knowledge in all areas of law. Stauber has that knowledge.
During 33-plus years as an attorney, Stauber handled matters in a variety of subject matters, ranging from uncontested to contested and from simple to complex. He's fair and equitable in deciding cases and firmly believes in a non-political independent judiciary.
He has experience in many different roles: as an employee at the U.S. Steel mill in Duluth while attending college, as an officer in the Army, and as a public defender, town board chairman and judge. He is honest, hard working and a person of integrity. He brought to his position on the Court of Appeals all these character traits and uses them in deciding cases, in accordance with the law. You could not ask for more in a judge.
I urge your vote for Judge Stauber, Court of Appeals.
