In this age of increasing technology, it has become more and more apparent that correct punctuation and spelling have been going in the opposite direction. However, the final blow came on July 27 when I picked up my News Tribune and read the headline, "Police sieze $2.8M in raid." The correct spelling is "seize." Doesn't anyone care about correct spelling anymore? Or was the paper's proof reader on vacation?
