Sympathies and empathies go out to Mark O'Brien and the staff at Who's Bar in Superior ("Bar employees, patrons clear air on Wisconsin smoking ban," July 6).
When Minnesota went smoke-free, my saloon took an 18 percent to 23 percent nosedive in sales from which we never recovered.
My advice to Wisconsin bars: Brace yourselves; this may hurt!
