Erik Simonson is the clear choice to fill the open Senate District 7 seat.
Simonson has a record of getting things done. In his four years in the Minnesota House he voted to raise the minimum wage, make marriage equality a reality and reform local government aid, which brought more state aid to Duluth. Simonson also made sure Duluth and greater Minnesota were not left out of the bonding bill. This included money for important Duluth projects like Wade Stadium repairs, a much-needed water pipeline for Spirit Mountain and rural broadband. These projects put people to work.
Simonson is a proven, no-
nonsense leader who can get things done for Duluth and Minnesota. He was named Legislator of the Year by the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities as a freshman. In 2016, Simonson was name a Legislator of Distinction by the League of Minnesota Cities. He is endorsed by multiple labor organizations, including the Duluth Central Labor Body. Simonson also is endorsed by the Sierra Club and Conservation Minnesota, proving you can support both labor and the environment.
I ask that you join me in supporting Erik Simonson in Senate District 7 on Nov. 8.
