My experience regarding sewer-line repairs was contrary to opinions expressed in the Aug. 24 letter, "Homeowners beware when getting sewer lines fixed."
I am a resident of Lakeside and my lateral line recently was dug up and replaced. The entire process was very easy. My line was replaced and my yard was leveled out in one day. Also, I hired a local contractor so the funds paid stayed in the community.
