There is nothing more tragic than the loss of a child. On July 21, the Bergman-Hanna family lost their precious child, Wyatt A. Hanna ("Authorities ID boy who died at Cloquet pond," July 23).
I cannot begin to try to understand why something so tragic happens, but someone somewhere must know something. There were 250-plus people at that pool that day. And someone needs to be asking the right questions: Where were the chaperones? Did they have a buddy system in place? And if so, how old were their buddies? Was he indeed wearing a life jacket? Where were the lifeguards when this little boy was crying out for help? Who is going to stand up and say something for this little boy who can no longer speak for himself?
May God wrap the Bergman-Hanna family in his loving arms during this most difficult time.
