Reader's View: Schultz has shown great leadership

I was a strong supporter of Jennifer Schultz for Minnesota House District 7A in 2014 for many reasons: her intelligence; her expertise on health care and commitment to comprehensive, quality health care for all Minnesotans; her strong support of public education; her focus on tackling racial economic disparities; her position on environmental issues; and her passion on issues important to working people.
And she did not let me, our district, or Minnesota down. In the past two years Schultz has shown great leadership and has proven she is an excellent representative. She is committed, visionary, focused, direct, inclusive, tenacious, incredibly smart, deliberate, and extraordinarily hard working.
And, perhaps just as importantly, it is never about her personally; rather, it is about her commitment and fight to move Duluth and Minnesota forward for all of us.
I am proud to once again support and endorse Jennifer Schultz for District 7A as our member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. I hope you will join me in casting your vote for her.
