I would like to address first lady Michelle Obama’s healthy-eating plan. The food we receive in school is overpriced, tastes awful, is often undercooked or overcooked, and is way too small in portion size. Kids are not getting enough to eat at school. I have more people telling me they are starving than full. Plus, I hear about how the food is just gross and nobody wants to eat it.
We need to go back to how lunches used to be, because I don’t know where she got this idea that the children were becoming obese or overweight. It was never a problem in the first place. I am not saying give us crappy good food to eat, but give us healthy good food, and then we will be going in the right direction.
If anything, we are starving kids rather than feeding them the right way. So please change this healthy-eating plan, and give us the food we actually need. Not cupcake-sized “hamburgers” or a $1.75 piece of day-old pizza, because that is just ridiculous.
