In the last election for St. Louis County attorney, I made my decision based on "girl power." I admit I was uninformed, and, as it turns out, my vote was a mistake. The current incumbent may have some good ideas, but unfortunately, she lacks the wisdom and skills necessary to implement them.
Mark Rubin is skilled, experienced and a leader. He has a proven track record for keeping our communities safe and has a passion for justice. His passion reaches the people of St. Louis County. His collaborative style brings our community together to ensure justice and protection for all.
Incumbent Melanie Ford's passion seems to be solely for making a name for herself rather than serving the people. In many cases she is uninformed and, instead of seeking facts, demands her employees keep their mouths shut.
Change for the sake of change is a waste of taxpayers' time and money. I have done my research and am well informed this time around. We need a county attorney who is fair, wise and experienced. I urge voters to join me in supporting Mark Rubin.
