On a recent Friday evening we attended the Northern Classic Rodeo in Superior. The announcer tried to supply funny banter during breaks in the action. This was one of his gems: "There's something wrong when the best rapper in the world is white and the best golfer is black."
Really? We think there's something wrong when racist comments are not booed and the speaker is not pelted with buckets of fresh-fried mini doughnuts.
