Reader's View: Republicans will get economy working again

If the Republicans left an economic shamble for President Barack Obama, he certainly repaired it with Silly Putty. The increases I have seen are in welfare, food stamps, Medicaid and government-program recipients.

If the Republicans left an economic shamble for President Barack Obama, he certainly repaired it with Silly Putty. The increases I have seen are in welfare, food stamps, Medicaid and government-program recipients.
The jobs created have been low-paying, substandard, almost-menial, get-by jobs that still require handouts from taxpayers. The new folks joining the workforce are getting no meat from the economic bone tossed to them. Maybe if we created another czar position and more bureaucracy. That would be job creation Democrats could, and would, chest-thump about.
Now about that national debt: Obama said he would cut it in half.
Vote Tuesday for Stewart Mills for Congress, Mike McFadden for U.S. Senate and Jeff Johnson for Minnesota governor. Let’s get some economic traction back.
