For many years I played at Playfront Park, otherwise known to many kids as the "wooden park." I was sad and mad when I found out it was going to be torn down. The "wooden park" was big and it was made for big and small kids. There were great hiding spots to play hide-and-seek. It was nice and big to play "don't touch the ground tag" and just regular tag. We could bring a picnic and spend the whole afternoon playing and never get bored. I really miss that park.

The new Playfront Park is great for smaller and younger kids. I'm 12 years old now, and the new park is not designed for someone my age or size. I'm sure there are other kids my age who would agree. I know it cost a lot of money to build the new park, but maybe equipment could be added to it for older and bigger kids. This new part would still be safe for younger kids, as well.

If I knew it could happen, I would help out and raise money for this cause!
