We strongly support the reelection of Joel Sipress to the Duluth City Council.
We met Sipress about four years ago when faced with development issues in our neighborhood. He attentively and broad-mindedly listened to our concerns and has ever since given us sage and useful advice on maintaining the integrity of ours and other neighborhoods that face challenges of inappropriate development, public partying, illegal parking, and urban blight.
Sipress helped us understand that concerns for public safety override personal concerns. He recognizes there is a need for neighborhoods with good homes for young families. He is active in helping homeowners, landlords, and tenants understand their responsibilities.
Sipress is both knowledgeable about and helpful with neighborhood issues of density, traffic, noise, safety, security, and sustainability. In short, Joel Sipress is helping us in our efforts to keep our neighborhoods great places for all families, old and young, to live.
