Palin's baby shouldn't be exposed to noisy crowd
I watched Alaska's Gov. Sarah Palin give her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention. We all saw her family in the audience, including her 5-month-old baby boy. She no doubt wanted to introduce her family and have her children share in the honor bestowed upon her.
However, when I listened to the roars arising over and over from the audience, I couldn't help but worry about the possible damage being done to her baby boy's hearing. The decibel levels in the auditorium had to have been off the charts.
Noise pollution is a very serious problem in our society. It behooves us as parents to protect our children's precious hearing.
Sarah Palin may be a popular governor, but I must question her judgment as a mother when she exposed that sweet baby to that extreme level of noise.
