There's an organization from the Twin Ports area doing an awful lot of good that's going unnoticed. Believe me, its members are not seeking attention, but I thought I would let the public know just how much good they perform. The name of the organization is "Friends of the Twin Ports Veterans Clinic."

This is a group of Twin Ports businesses and individuals who have spent their time and money to support Northland veterans. Recently, they purchased a 65-inch, LCD, flat-screen television for the waiting room at the vets clinic in Superior. My fellow veterans and I can give our deeply felt thanks to this organization. They've gone way above the call of duty. The phrase, "if you love your freedom, thank a vet," means something to this group.
