I write this on May 7 after several days when one might have mistaken the News Tribune Opinion page for a right-wing propaganda machine.

Whoever is picking the commentaries and other pieces to publish very obviously is supportive of a theocracy; every other article seems to promote just that. Whoever it is also seems to support Democrat-bashing, as other articles do just that.

Extremism is not attractive, and that is all there seems to be lately. I am afraid people not from here will pick up our paper and think we are all insane.

Impartiality is missing and is sorely needed. Perhaps the News Tribune should put someone in charge who does not feel the need to have his or her personal opinion validated with every article printed.
