There seems to be a great deal of procrastination by our elected officials when it comes to the creation of true health care reform in this country. Too many of our elected officials seem only to be interested in their own agenda and could care less for the welfare of the people who elected them to office -- as they blatantly laugh and poke fun at proposals that are presented to them for health care reform. They don't seem to care for the plight and well-being of the struggling masses in our country -- and do not have to care: Not only are they and their loved ones covered by the best health care insurance available in this country, the premiums are paid for by all of us.

I think President Obama should be less concerned with his popularity, get a backbone like his predecessor George W. Bush, and inform all elected officials their medical insurance has been canceled, and will remain so, until they hammer out true health care reform for everyone in this country.

I am of the firm belief that when elected officials are truly in the same boat as their constituents, then and only then will they take this matter seriously and produce quality health care reform for all citizens in our country.
