I have voted Republican all my life and likely will again this year, but I believe that the boorish behavior of the anti-Oberstar crowd in the Oct. 19 debate was utterly uncalled for and reprehensible.
Agree with the congressman or not, but there are very few people in this district who have not been the direct beneficiaries of his patronage; he deserved far better from us.
I can only hope those misbehaving in the audience were primarily disaffected Democrats and not my fellow Republicans.
