Duluth and the Northland warmly welcomed King Harald V and Queen Sonja.
This summer, in July, I listened attentively and prayerfully to the remarks of Prime Minister Stoltenberg and King Harald regarding the tragedy that struck so violently the peaceful nation of Norway. The prime minister and the king spoke eloquently words of comfort, hope and inspiration to a grieving people. Their words opened the way for healing, peace and reconciliation. Their nation and its leaders have much to offer the world -- an enduring culture, a working politics, social justice and the prize of peace!
