Rick Nolan is endorsed by the DFL Party, and that means a lot to us. The party is the voice of the people of our region.
Nolan also is endorsed by Gov. Mark Dayton, Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, former Congressman Jim Oberstar, state Sen. Tom Bakk, state Rep. David Dill and former Vice President Walter Mondale, a Minnesota leader.
What made up our minds is Nolan himself and his ability to put his wisdom and intelligence to work on hard issues.
We are divided in our community, mining vs. environment. Nolan proposed a long-term solution to end this divide that would create jobs while protecting our environment and our workers.
We were distressed when Nolan's opponent, Jeff Anderson, perhaps not reading the whole bill, recently supported U.S. Rep. Chip Cravaack and Republicans on H.R. 4402, which guts environmental protection and worker protection and safety.

Nolan will protect the people, build jobs, protect Social Security and work toward a healthy economy.
Nolan is a good man and a native of the 8th Congressional District. He and his wife, Mary, will represent us terrifically in Washington. Join us in supporting Rick Nolan for Congress.
