A vote for Barack Obama was supposed to have been a vote for change.

According to the last quarterly newsletter of Peace Action, between August 2008 and Jan. 20, 2009, 30 drone-strike attacks were conducted in the mountains between Pakistan and Afghanistan, killing more than 300 people. Since Jan. 20, another five attacks occurred, killing at least 22 people.

These bombs discharged by unmanned bombers indiscriminately destroy everything and become a recruiting tool for the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

Americans can write their congressional representatives and senators, urging them to support U.S. Rep. Barney Frank's bill to cut the defense budget 20 percent and to end the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. They can suggest an amendment be added to prohibit attacks by drone flights.
