I am so grateful for freedom of speech.

The U.S. has many national holidays, being "one nation under God" and with "in God we trust." We have Christmas Day, Easter, and Thanksgiving.

I wonder how we could get a National Day of Forgiveness, since God has requested that we forgive one another so that we also may be forgiven.

That's from the Bible, the book on which our politicians place their hand when they take office. We have been given powerful instructions from a God who loves us.
