Back in the 1950s and 1960s Billy Graham and others spoke out on immorality in high places, the "Big Monday" influence of liberalism in schools and churches, the deadly works of Satan boring from within, and that we are living in the latter days.
Defeating the work of Satan was not a matter of flesh and blood or guns and bullets but only through a great revival and purging America from within of the rats and termites that are weakening America.
The United States can be saved most effectively by born-again Christians and by unity of effort.
If you would be a loyal American, you would have to become a loyal Christian. Loyal citizenship's duty requires us to be informed and active in political matters. Democracy needs to be protected by Christianity.
Be active politically. After careful scrutiny, cast your vote of conscience and on your knowledge of facts. We can retake this nation to be a nation under God with life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for all people.

The Progressive Party movement of 100 years ago and the revival of 50 years ago spoke of the same concerns. Nothing has happened because we the people (Christians) have done nothing to change these dark and perilous times.
If change is what we need and want, we need to be politically active. Of course, divine providence, guidance and direction through our prayers are necessary and of critical importance for all those in authority and for ourselves. With the aid of God almighty's power, we will have the trust and faith and assurance that God's will will be done. We must stop looking to Washington for answers; we need to turn to God.
