I will be voting in the Nov. 7 election to reelect Rosie Loeffler-Kemp to the Duluth School Board in District 1.
I have known Loeffler-Kemp for almost 20 years. During this time, I never met anyone who spent more time or energy working for the children in our district and our state. She has served in PTA leadership roles at the school, district, and state levels and has served as president of the Minnesota State PTA for three years. She possesses a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our educational system, from the perspective of an administrator as well as a parent of Duluth public school students.
I have seen the negative impact that our often-divisive School Board can have on the community. I choose to support elected officials who welcome constructive debate but at the same time work to collaborate rather than create divisions. Loeffler-Kemp has a track record of doing just that through her work on the School Board as well as the multiple other community organizations that have benefited from her leadership.
Vote Rosie Loeffler-Kemp on Nov. 7.
