I am proud to work for Enbridge as a buyer in supply-chain management. My main responsibility is purchasing valves for our pipeline projects. The valves serve a pivotal role in maintaining flow requirements and in providing the emergency shutdown of a pipeline, should it be needed. It is a challenging role, as Enbridge has stringent specifications and demands the highest standards from its suppliers.
Enbridge has given me and my family many opportunities. My husband and I are both third-generation Duluthians. We feel fortunate to live in a place we love, and we have great employment here. Enbridge has given me the opportunity to buy a beautiful home, start a family, continue my education, and give back to the community. Just last quarter, I had the opportunity to serve a meal at CHUM, ring bells for the Salvation Army, and collect coats for CASDA and Safe Haven. All of it was organized by Enbridge.
I believe the Line 3 Replacement Project would provide the same opportunity to thousands of other Minnesotans.
