I was shocked at the venom and the name calling by the writer of the June 6 letter, "Principal should call off newspaper storm troopers," which was aimed at supporters of Sharon Pristash, the former principal at
St. James Catholic School.
His suggestion -- absent any evidence -- that Pristash was directing her supporters as well as editorial decisions at the News Tribune sounded, frankly, like the ranting of a man unhinged. He certainly succeeded in fanning the anti-clerical sentiment he said so disturbs him.
