I contacted Minnesota's U.S. Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith to to let them know how I feel about their votes on this proposed legislation. I thanked them both for not endorsing legislation that is not science-based and that would limit the health care a woman might need during her pregnancy. They rightly voted to leave it to women and their doctors to decide what is appropriate for their own medical care.
