Why should all members of society follow the rules laid down by those who believe in the Bible? What if I am an atheist, Muslim, or Hindu and don't believe in Christianity, yet I am forced to follow Christian practices?
Perhaps the greatest principle instilled in America is religious freedom.
Why should one religion dominate and dictate to all members of society? Individuals who claim they know how all people should live their lives because of a religion they personally believe in are dangerous and use an unjustified argument.
Society should only give people education, resources, and autonomy to make choices on their own, knowing full well their consequences.
For this reason alone, abortion should be allowed. What happened to separation of church and state?
