This election the right to life should be the most important issue, since without life there are no other issues.
This year we have two abortion ideologues in Gov. Mark Dayton and Sen. Al Franken.
Dayton has vetoed pro-life bills sent to him by the Legislature, even a bill requiring abortion facilities to be licensed by the state, according to the nonprofit Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life. This bill would protect women. His running mate, Tina Smith, is a former vice president of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country. Dayton’s only acceptable position seems to be abortion-on-demand.
Franken seems to be a strong defender of the abortion industry. He is committed to Planned Parenthood. He has introduced a bill, “Women’s Health Protection Act, S 1696,” which would effectively establish abortion-on-demand, until birth, all across the country. It would undo all laws passed in the states to put limits on abortions. Franken has a zero pro-life voting record.
I urge people to consider voting for pro-life legislators. We have to end the violence against the most innocent in the womb. There’s no longer any respect for human life. Know who your pro-life candidates are. Contact mcclpac.org for information.
