So apparently Scott Jurek believes he should be able to violate our sacred mountain whenever and however he pleases (“Jurek agrees to $500 fine in plea deal; two citations against Proctor native were dropped in regard to Appalachian run,” Sept. 11).
Let’s hope Jurek stays out of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.
