Reader's View: Isn't discipline a result of misbehavior?

I found interesting the March 3 article, "Discipline disparities widespread in Minn. schools." Once again we hear about students of color getting the short end of the stick, this time with too many suspensions, etc.

I found interesting the March 3 article, "Discipline disparities widespread in Minn. schools." Once again we hear about students of color getting the short end of the stick, this time with too many suspensions, etc.

Is it at all possible that this is due to their own actions while at school?

Are we allowed in today's society to ask such a question? Or do I need anger therapy for even thinking it?
