I think the idea of a trail-way stop and shop, as described in the Aug. 10 letter, "Incline Railway park could boost tourism," would be so cool!
As a lifelong resident of Duluth, I know I would check out the pathways and trails at least a couple of times a year. What better way to have tourists check out a beautiful view of the lake, enjoy nature and be able to get in some nick-knack shopping, all at the same time, and all the while using land that has historical significance to Duluth? And if there was a "ride" it would complete the package and just be totally cool.
The writer had an awesome idea. Way to think forward while thinking back and finding a way to enhance Duluth and make it more welcoming and enjoyable!
