Get a grip, Democrats. The irrational and truly hateful rhetoric the Democratic Party and some others spew is unbecoming and counterproductive.

I can understand Democrats' disappointment and bitterness over the surprising and humiliating loss their candidate suffered in the last presidential election, but it was not the end of the world. So they should get over it already!

President Donald Trump does have a different and aggressive style, but it's his style. Let's see if it works. It might, and he does seem to be accomplishing some positive things for the country in spite of the total resistance and sabotage of Democrats, "never Trumpers," and a significant segment of the news media.

A rush to be against everything "Trump" makes makes those who oppose him irrelevant and put them, at times, at odds with what might be best for the country. It also counters some previously held Democratic positions.

Hypocrisy in politics is nothing new, for both sides, but there used to be an effort to hide it. The minority party must be the "loyal opposition" and not the "resistance" if this government is going to work.

Finally, if the president is as bad as some say, in two and a half years they can throw the bum out. It's called an election; that's how it works!
