Which man is morally superior to the other: the homosexual or the divorced? The Judeo Christian scriptures supposedly castigate both equally. The major difference is that homosexuals have not yet won an opportunity to make a mockery of marriage.
Today's heterosexual marriage is no guarantee of holiness. Pseudo-Christians who appointed themselves the task of patrolling the intimate lives of this nation already have accepted the redefinition of traditional marriage as the relationship between one man and one woman after another, after another, after another to the decay of the fabric of society. These same folks have successfully contributed to the election of political mismanagement of this nation over the past eight years because of their selective, one-issue vision.
What is sorely missing is the virtue of fidelity to one's place in society -- be it family or politics or economics. It is certainly possible for human beings to be faithful to each other in a mutual, loving manner, but to date Semper Fi is mostly a laugh.
