Have the supporters of the proposed voter I.D. amendment provided a factual basis to substantiate its necessity or to rebut their opponents' claim that it would disenfranchise thousands of otherwise-qualified voters? What effort, if any, has the News Tribune exerted to ascertain these facts and inform its readers?
