Now that Duluth schools Superintendent Bill Gronseth has tried to leave Duluth five times in two years, what should we all think? I think he has lost his credibility, the confidence of teachers, and the community's respect and trustworthiness ("Gronseth not chosen for White Bear Lake job," Feb. 25).

It seemed to me he deceived the School Board to get a pay raise and a measure of its confidence. It would be best for all in Independent School District 709 if he resigned and moved on. We all deserve someone who has "skin in the game." Obviously he has ambitions elsewhere and should go now.

If he doesn't move on and tells us all again how much he loves Duluth and that he really belongs here, don't believe him.

Maybe the School Board needs to poll the parents about a vote of confidence. Let the people who have skin in the game decide.

Maybe our graduation rate of 74 percent could be improved with new leadership.
