The reason girls hockey is important to me is -- well, let's start at the beginning. About a year ago, I was a clumsy skater who couldn't skate backward or stop. Then I joined a girls hockey team called the Icebreakers. So the reason girls hockey is important to me is because, well, I love it and it's a thing I love doing. Plus, it's a great winter sport.
Any girl who doesn't play should try it out. And everyone should try to support girls hockey, thinking of all the girls who love the sport and what they could do with support.
