Reader's View: Enbridge reflects my family values

I am an Enbridge employee and support the Line 3 Replacement Project.

I was born and raised in Duluth. Even though we moved away for awhile, I always knew I wanted to move back and raise a family here.

Like many in the Northland, we were attracted by Duluth's close proximity to lakes and woods and the ability of our family to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. I taught my children to protect and respect the environment.

My employer protects and respects the environment as well. Enbridge is concerned about safety and the environment first. I can attest to that as I see it in my job every day in the concern my colleagues have for the way we do business.

Additionally, Enbridge employees are immensely involved in our community as coaches, school board members, emergency responders, etc.

My family values are the same as Enbridge's values: integrity, respect, and safety. I hold these at the highest level and ask you to recognize that as you learn more about this important project.
