Reader's view: Elect Whiteside for insight, leadership

I am writing today to express my support for Tom Whiteside and my intention to spread word to others of the value of Whiteside’s policies and abilities.
Over these past weeks, the public has had the opportunity to observe and evaluate the perspectives and agendas of the various candidates in the upcoming elections. Whiteside’s honest insight into our community’s needs and his willingness to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns set him far apart from the other candidates.
Whiteside is a leader; he will take office and listen to the needs of the people and stand strong for the things he believes are in our best interests.
With proud enthusiasm, I support Tom Whiteside for state representative in Minnesota House District 6A.
